Update Aadhaar Address (Online & Offline)
You can update your address online if your mobile number is linked with Aadhaar.
- Visit myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
- Login using Aadhaar number and OTP

- Select Update Address
- Choose one option:
- Update address using your own documents
- Family member–based address update

- Enter new address details
- Upload valid Proof of Address (PoA) document

- Submit and save SRN (Service Request Number)

Update Mobile Number (New Aadhaar App)
UIDAI’s new Aadhaar app allows mobile number update without visiting a centre.
- Open the Aadhaar app and sign in (Aadhaar + MPIN/OTP)
- Go to Services section
- Select Update Mobile Number
- Enter new mobile number
- Verify OTP sent to new number
- Complete face authentication using phone camera
- Pay update fee ₹75
- Submit request

Mobile number update usually takes 15–30 days. You will receive SMS updates on your new mobile number.
Biometric Update
Biometric updates are required in these cases:
- Child enrolled below 5 years (update at age 5 and again at 15)
